dagabu
Hey all, I just wanted to share some of my projects with you all that I have been working on. These are all 100% my creation, all of them are cut from stock with no CNC or special tooling, just a calipers, file, sand paper and a lathe. Enjoy 3# Universal Rocket Tooling brass spindle (mounted on Firesmith Base). My baby http://www.pyrobin.com/files/100_2025.jpg A 1 pound Universal Rocket Tooling set (making it for someone here, just the base is left). http://www.pyrobin.com/files/3%20pound%20set.jpg 8 oz. I don't like selling things when it's my first time building them.

NightHawkInLight
How about comet pumps? If so I'd be interested in one for the following. http://pyrobin.com/files/stars.jpg That's too cool. That would make 3" shells take half the time to build, and be perfectly consistent. I might also be interested if I can afford it.
dagabu
Sheesh! You guys are killing me! 2.5 OD, 7 stars, give me a few days, I will mill a prototype and we will see what it would cost.
OneEyeCharlie
I'm coveting the cannon. What's the bore ID?
dagabu
.50", The brass runs $4.00 an inch so I would need $50.00 for the barrel without any changes. That's too cool. That would make 3" shells take half the time to build, and be perfectly consistent. I might also be interested if I can afford it. Shoot me that link for the canon we saw last night please. I might also be interested if I can afford it. Unfortunately they don't work as well as traditionally stacked comets, and thus lose the consistency you think you might be getting. I was thinking of them more for insert shells, where the expedited assembly can really pay off. When I get back into things, I might make myself a prototype out of plastic. I was mostly just trying to give you a hard time dagabu since you won't do star plates. I'd probably be looking at something with 6 or 7 stars in a 1.75" ring. It equates approximately to 5/8" or 1/2" respectively.
