Finishing up the last of the bombettes (240 total).then I'll start with the 1.75" and the 2.5" shells, hopefully the shells will dry in time, if not, at least I'll have the cakes ready lol

Well guys it seems those bombettes I've working with will not be so spectacular after all, I test/shoot some of them and some of the stars were getting blown blind, don't know if its the prime not working (bp + 10% silicon) or the burst (2 grams of slow nitrate flash)...should've tested them before making the whole batch at the same time, oh well, it sucks.
At least I still have the 1.75" and the 2.5" ball shells, we'll see how they work

How many days you have spend?? You seem to have big plan for NYE.

I have been working on this project for the last 2 or 3 weeks, it took me about 4 days just to pump all the stars about 3 kilos of comp, today I'll start loading the cake tubes with bp, colored stars, some dragon eggs and the inserts. after that I'll start pasting the 1.75" and the 2.5" shells so I am still working, and yes, big plans for NYE hahahahahaha

id have to say for the about 12kg of stars i rolled and the probably 4kg of prime and dark relay used i spent about 30 to 40 hours in total screening comps and rolling was a lot of time i dry all my stars when i make cores then dry again when at size then dry each layer of prime aswell

the kno3 is from aus so would not be worth it for you i dont think

p.s. all motors where pressed with a bottle jack the 20 or so incriments that go into a 10" long core burner render each motor to being put in the support to taken out takes me about 1 hour so alone there is about another 40 or so hours work in the motors and then the building and all the rest of the stuff like cutting sticks and so on id say id be at about 200 hours put in for the night

I'll just have a couple of 4" shells, can't shoot anything at the location I'm at. :(

Tell me about not being able to shoot, I live in the city and december is pretty much the only month of the year when I can shoot a little without getting in troble with the police, the problem is that I don't have that much time to fine/tune my shells so Im just hoping that whatever I shoot works well, thats why I keep reading and asking questions in this site lol. hope your shells do great
