The recommended one is what I've heard called "Ruby Fluid" (which I've used for many years) but I'm not certain if that's a brand name or a generic term. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Col Posted August 30, 2013 Share Posted August 30, 2013 I clean the copper and nichrome wire with a quick dunk in phosphoric acid and use a flux that contains zinc chloride.
