pyrojig Posted October 24, 2013 Share Posted October 24, 2013 Where is the "brain Dentist " when you need him Cuo/ AL targets are nice for a softer boom , and a impressive brown smoke cloud . They are great for a 22. and if you ever film the explosion it is very impressive if you play back in slow mode. The thermite effect shows its face .THere is a very intense amount of hot fire and metal particle being thrown out, and if one where too close to it , im sure it would be a memorable experience . An oxidizer ( chlorate or perch ) with AL will be much more powerful , and cheaper in relation to the CUo thermite . But that all comes down to your sources too.
