What type of metal?The prime is BP + bright silver Al.That's why the silver colour of the stars.As for the comet,i used the same Al.Here is the composition.Degn Silver Comet.Potassium Perchlorate 10 Aluminum, flake, bright. -325 mesh, 36 micron 7 Barium Nitrate 2 Shellac 1The prime is slurry Bp with granulated bp.There is al In the prime, adding ti to the star also helps ignition. burningRNX Posted January 27, 2014 Share Posted January 27, 2014 That ruby + Ti is a nice one, I like the idea to add Ti to a collor composition, it brings depth to the break, I've had lots of peony's that looked sparse or lonely, adding Ti would have prevented that. pyrogeorge Posted January 28, 2014 Author Share Posted January 28, 2014 Good question leedrill.I saw that flash and it is strange because the flash not ignited inside the shell or another reason maybe caused by the prime of stars.It was BP+ Al 325#.
