Hi,

 

What prices would you give this charcoals:

 

Ash Charcoal 250g: ?€

Willow Charcoal (Yellow branch tree) 250g: ?€

Maple Charcoal 250g: ?€

White Pine Charcoal 250g: ?€

Hazelnut Charcoal 250g: ?€

Plum Charcoal 250g: ?€

 

And how much does 1kg Balsa Wood costs?

For me it costs ~10€.

Strange question, are you investigating the market or what´s that about?

What is ash charcoal btw?

 

The prize will depend on how difficult the raw material is to obtain, and the market availability. Quality of course. Generally I would reply 3-6 Euro for the amounts and species suggested. The prize of balsa will largely depend on what form you buy it in. Model airplane planks will be quite pricey compared to sawdust.

 

Really what is this about? Just curious, not meaning to sound rude.

Its because I can obtain about every wood from my forest. (also buckthorn)

 

And I can make every charcoal and I wanted to know how much charcoal costs because i plan on making for every wood listet above 1kg charcoal.

Seriously I'm not into exotic charcoals for me it's willow for BP for lift burst etc, and pine for tail effect stars.

 

Willow charcoal I can buy, and willow sticks I can collect for free . Pine is general timber so it comes from a builder's skip or a broken pallet, again FOC.
