oldguy
In a horse trade I recieve a box full of bags of differing metal powder. One bag was labeled "Cu C70 SPH 300 mesh". It's copper for sure. I am amazed at the weight of a small volume. An orange (the cirtrus fruit) sized bag weighs 10 lbs. Anybody have any idea if this stuff is good for anything? If so how did you find the colour? (I haven't tried any metallic fueled blue comps) Now I can't wait to get my hexamine in!
optimus
You can use Cu powder in many star/lance formulas. 300mesh might be a bit fine for blue strobes but should work fine in stars/lances. http://www.skylighter.com/fireworks/how-to-make/copper-green-blue-fireworks-stars.asp
