Potassiumchlorate
When do you use pine resin? As a fuel only? I once bought it by mistake when searching for phenolic resin. It doesn't seem to have very good binding properties.
AdmiralDonSnider
I assume this is the same as colophony (wood resin). It´s not too common in star formulas, but some use it as a fuel. Shimizu describes it in detail. Colophony in powder form is very easily available where I live, even in small supermarkets, so you should probably have a look and reconsider buying it in lump form. It´s pretty cheap and used for the depilation of pigs (sic!) after they´ve been slaughtered.
