chuck45 Posted October 12, 2011 Share Posted October 12, 2011 Hi mate. After checking, the tube was one that had been in the rain and got quite brittle, plus I overcharged. I was still surprised though, as I used no wadding and only had small crushed blue star fragments on top of the powder. The powder was granulated through kitchen sieve, not exactly sure of the size as I'm yet to set up with screens etc. It is a very quick powder. I'm putting it down to the tube and overcharging ( I'm still getting used to this powder, qucker than what I used to make), as I fired D1 stars last week from the same sized tubes (re used from a commercial cake) and had no issues.
