marks265
Seabisquit2, It was an experiment that I did in the past to see if I could make QM in a long linear fashion. I still have not used all that I have made from the project. I know that it has potential and others had since used some of my ideas. With the use of gummed taped the match is not exactly water or damp proof. With the selection of good materials it could be a lot more useful to fight moisture and allow for more room in the pipe. If I really needed to I could get much better match than I have already made. Using wider gummed tape and a water proof liner would go a long way on the project. I have some info in my blog also: http://www.amateurpyro.com/forums/blog/14/entry-98-the-secrets-of-my-quick-match-tool/ Another place to look is http://www.wpag.us/learn/Quick%20Match%20Casing%20Former.pdf Thanks,Mark
