Algenco
I built a couple 6" ball shells, since these are my first I don't know how much delay they need. Recommendations anyone? Edited December 3, 2010 by Algenco
Seymour
I'm not sure if this is standard or not, but I'm in the habit of giving mine about five seconds. It seems to work well for me.
Mumbles
Sounds about right. I use 1.5" between crossmatches.

FREAKYDUTCHMEN
I't just a matter of taste.personally i find 5 seconds for a 6" shell way too long, i prefer 3.5 sec.
Arthur
You can adjust your timing if you want to use more or less lift, if you use less lift then the time must be lessened so that the break happens at apogee. If you use LOTS of lift then you can break it later and get a wider and longer fall from crown willow / slow gold type shells
