Up until now I've been using a cement mixer to roll stars, not to bad a process, but lots of comp ended up being wasted and sizing them was a real pain. So long story short even though they are somewhat pricey I ordered the 3/8" star plate from wolter pyro tools. I just got it today and couldn't be happier with it. The build quality of the tool is just amazing. I pressed out 500 willow stars with it tonight in little over an hour, no comp wasted, not too messy, stars all perfectly sized. Really can't say enough about this product and I'll probably only go back to rolling if i need color changers. http://www.wolterpyrotools.com/ P.S.
