I’ve been working with sugar an black powder for over a decade, test, velocity, burn rate, exc. funny  1 gram sugar has equivalent to what about 20 or so 22 shells, and I wander why triple seven one of the hotter black powders is sugar based, only was sharing for those of interest

Err, what?

Humidity being over 125% for several days, through the process of being made

Humidity doesn't go past 100%, if you force the equivalent with a rapid temperature drop you get dew / fog / condensation and everything is getting wet, hygroscopic or not.

I'm not sure where the post was, I think you asked though...  potassium benzoate is not hygroscopic at all, there were extensive military tests done in the 80s.  Potassium hydrogen pthalate is also non-hygroscopic.  I couldn't find any data on potassium salicylate, but it's probably not reasonable to use it for anything since it has a water of crystallization that it loses at a very low temperature (~84F).

Like I said I was only expressing it was off the chart “ humidity”

And on top that i stated that I was off the charts  and I was raining and had been for several days an so foggy you couldn’t see 2 feet in front of you outside my shop, I have some that was made with poplar and made in  2009, it’s been in my cabinet in my shop the same formula and is in mill form and still good as when I put it in there, and winter get below freezing here, and my shop is not climate controlled, only heated when I’m working, but I was only trying to share something to try and works on the spot, for those wants try something different, but It put out the energy an velocity and thats proof enough for me, it makes the numbers, for those get bored and wants try something different they will be pleased, you know it’s just a very small ratio of powder sugar or dextrose , not a huge lump or complete based formula like tried to make it to be, and it work an works very well
