First attempt on 6 inch hemispherical shell

After lots of year I tried first hemispherical ball shell.

So far I have built lots of flash powder based burst charge shells, now I have tried my first 6 inch hemispherical shell.

I used 12 mm Red and Aqua stars and in center 1 inch by 1 inch cylindrical silver cascade comets (4 numbers).

Burst charge was Black powder on Rice Chaff and slow nitrate flash as a booster.

Entire shell is pasted with 12 layers using white glue thinned using water.

Due to poor camera quality colour contrast was not correctly captured.
