Is there any way to stop flashpowder from clumping after you ball mill it? Every time I mill the flashpowder it seems to clump up, I mill it for around 4 hours, is this too long? I know the aluminum and chlorate are good quality because the mixture lights really good and makes good salutes, just want to avoid the clumping.

You ballmill chlorate flashpowder?

And you're still here to talk about it?

You are either VERY lucky, or you picked the perfect day for this confession  :D

Blowing shit up is not a goal in itself. Seeing your device working the way you intended, is the greatest satisfaction of all.

A little realgar will help keep it from clumping.

As Realgar is hard to find these days, I'd recommend Red Phosphorous as anti caking....

This thread made my day!

That is either,   A.) the best April Fools joke I have ever heard, or B.) The absolute worst. I work EMS and with the stupidity I see someone somewhere would believe it.

Hey guys, let's not post "April fools jokes" which can get people killed! Some kid may read this thread and try milling flash and lose limbs or their life.

Fair call, but reading the thread they would discover it is in fact April fools and also no one here would seriously encourage something like this, and I have seen a number of members getting told off for posting dangerous questions.

I have to admit, this one got me at first... haha... but realizing that it had not been quickly removed gave me a clue that something was amiss. :)
