austar Posted October 28, 2016 Author Share Posted October 28, 2016 Funny that you said that, I had planed to mske some spoolets snd do some test burns in preparation of some 3" hemispheres I am hoping to get in the near future, plus gor some of my canister shells. Visco has worked perfectly so far but I havent yet attached a lift charge to a shell, just been prechsrging the mortor tube it's self. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
austar Posted October 29, 2016 Author Share Posted October 29, 2016 (edited) I couldnt find the time or want to make tubes for this burn test.But here is a quick example of my different powders straight out of the mill.1. Newspaper= very slow2. Construction pine= better but not great ( have lifted shells with this)3.cotton= pretty damn quick (even tho it pre ignited)4.
