taiwanluthiers
Hey I noticed they were selling some fireworks in SF at Chinatown. Any idea if those are legal? They look like toy fireworks...
AldoSPyro
No they aren't. A lot of those people in chinatown also sell 10g flash salutes that they call m-1000s. No fireworks are legal in SF. But the fountains they sell are allowed in some municipalities like sacramento, but only for use on july 3 and 4.
dagabu
Hey I noticed they were selling some fireworks in SF at Chinatown. Any idea if those are legal? They look like toy fireworks... I bought a few strings of crackers in SF in 1997 when I was visiting a friend and I got a ticket and they were confiscated, the Asian people that bought them were not stopped or ticketed. I am not making any kind of comments other than it happened to me, this is really a ethnic festival and white people are to watch, not take part.
