loris94
Hi I thought to replace some of the Charcoal into tigertail stars to make them burn longer and improve the color. I thought to make 3 batch and try to replace 50%,25% and 15% of the Charcoal as a start. But before trying and wasting chemicals I thought it would be better to ask to the experts So what do you guys think about this? Thank you! marks265
I would add and not replace as something to try. Also add 2 to 5 percent and adjust from there. My 2 centsMark
schroedinger
Well given the high charcoal content of tt i would stay with replacing, but start with 5%

Mumbles
A friend of mine used to make TT with a blend of different charcoals. It had 7.5% lampblack, and a blend of pine, BBQ briquette, and normal charcoal. Beautiful tail, but I'm not sure which part did it, or a combination of everything.
