However upon more research I hear that it is not very safe to use unless you have a big amount of experience. I am wondering if it is safe and if it isn't then why not. Thank you. FlaMtnBkr Posted August 2, 2013 Share Posted August 2, 2013 I don't think zinc and sulfur has been used regularly in 40 or 50 years. There are a few other things that can work well including BP and KNO3/Sugar. I would look at one of those first as they can be made at home fairly easily.
