Belt tension was carefully adjusted but I had lots of black rubber particles all over the motor compartment whenever I ran it. The belt doesn't look very worn yet, but it's obvious it wont last forever. Is there something to be considered when buying spare belts on ebay ect. , are there noticable differences in quality? TheArchitect23 Posted May 29, 2013 Share Posted May 29, 2013 I beleive the lorotone and the harbor freight tumblers use the same belts.you can pick one up locally in a 2 pack for 3.00 or ebay for the same plus shipping.most units come with 5 belts, i have 4 units, all on original belts. so i have some spares if you live in the US just cover shipping.
