fredjr
Since everyone seems to be doing 2 stage I figured I'd do one. 2 stages of 1" ID whistle, 6" long with a 5/16" x 4.75" core. There is a .25" gap on both ends, so actual grain is 5.5". First stage plain benz whistle- second benz whistle + 5 titanium, so you can see the diiference. I used quickmatch & bp to actually disengage and expel first stage (you can hear it). Basically hole in connecting tube, a piece of Qm, end bared and sandwiched between tape holding fisrt stage to stick. Connecting tube is 3/4 filled with bp meal then a nc laq/bp slurry is poured over top - just enough to seal in bp (so it doesn't migrate to second stge core).Camera is around 150 yards away from launch - so how high is it? prefireejectionmov file

styropyro
I think it's something like 1000 feet every second from the flash to the report. I may be wrong though so someone correct me if I am. But by the way that was a real nice rocket! I like how there was a report at the end of the first stage too.
cplmac
Beautiful rocket. I like the mini report when it passfired. The Ti tail was nice as well with a good final report. Top notch.
