JFeve81 Posted December 4, 2012 Share Posted December 4, 2012 I've ran across a comp. posted by a person by the name of Sambo back in 2009. It was a thread dealing with nitrate based strobes. Sambo posted the formulas I've linked. Each formula totalled 104-105. I've seen several other formulas that total over 100% and were told they were correct. So would the ones like Sambo posted be in parts or percent? californiapyro Posted December 4, 2012 Share Posted December 4, 2012 I personally don't get the confusion with parts/percent/whatever. Formulas don't need to add up to 100, but if you want them to just multiply each ingredient by 100/X, X being the total. Does this answer something, or am I way off? Mumbles Posted December 4, 2012 Share Posted December 4, 2012 I have those same formulas. I got them from a posting by Lloyd Sponnenburgh, but he got them from somewhere on the internet allegedly.
