This one is a 3" plastic ball shell with 3/8" Veline Blue stars with 4:1 whistle burst, no flash. I'm pretty sure the ratio is 1 ounce to a pound when using commercial lift so you could probablty cut down the costs though. But that is one nice shell! I don't really know what I am doing wrong with them. Can you put the formula and method of your blue stars here? I had a look on the forum and couldnt find it.They are impressive. ewest Posted November 10, 2006 Author Share Posted November 10, 2006 BTW, I pumped those blue stars with a 3/8" pump and they had two coats of Veline Super Prime on them. By two coats I mean I put them in the star roller, squirted them with alcohol/water, sprinkled some prime on them until they picked it all up, then repeated. That's all that was needed. Oh yeah, the formula calls for 200 mesh Magnalium but I didn't have any, so I used 325 mesh Magnalium instead. I'm not sure that makes much difference but thought I'd mention it anyway. They look a little pastel on the ground, but they're nicer in the air. Not the Bluest Blue I've ever seen, but not too bad. Good luck. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
