For the life of me, I cant seem to attach YouTube videos to my posts, surely we wouldn't do an upgrade that didn't include this ability would we?

Please post the workaround.

I have the advantage of being able look at the formatting of everyone's posts. It seems that it automatically puts the video URL into the following code.
[media]URL Here[/media]

Alternatively, and more annoyingly, there is a button on the quick reply box at least that has a picture with what looks like a green bar through it. It's on the top row, third from the left. It is for special BB code. If you go through that you can specially select the media tags, and it opens a window to get it all setup for you.

In most cases all you have to do is paste the URL from the video sharing host.

It "recognizes" a number of them automatically now.

For those that won't parse, try what Mumbles suggested or try manually pasting the URL between the opening and closing media tag as he provided.

[/

Media tags won't work. I recon its got something to do with the type of link.

Huh, adding [/media] only at the end of the link worked, for some reason.. Although it's visible. Without it, wont work.

Adding only [/ works. What the heck..
