Once upon a time there was some kind of a plague and some genius thought to shoot fireworks right INTO a crowd to cast away demons... so that's what they do. Imagine rockets being launched right at you.

 

This happens every year around Chinese new years, so if you'd like to come and experience something like this, plan ahead.

 

Heck it could be a good safety lesson... just make sure you wear cotton clothings.
