dagabu Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 i just realized that i made my 2inch canister shell it weights 126 grams i used 13 grams of 4f black powder for lift and 1/4 chinese time fuse but i forgot to cross match the time fuse any ideas Slurry coat the end of the time fuse, the Chinese do that to millions of shells each year. -dag
eb11 Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 i already have the shell finished the fuse is sitting in the black powder just am not sure if i should open the lift charge end and cross match it
Mumbles Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I would say it's worth the effort to open the lift cup up and crossmatch or otherwise prime it. I'm guessing the interior isn't primed either. That you may just need to take a chance on, though it usually works alright.
eb11 Posted July 24, 2012 Author Posted July 24, 2012 thanks guys new ay fireworks thought i had all the steps written down but apperently not will open lift cup and crossmatch
dagabu Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 Yes, you will want to open the lift cut and prime it. -dag
