stamos Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Hello to all, i am new here. It's a very nice forum which helped me a lot. I have a question about flashing comets. The effect can be seen in the linked video from 2:08 to 2:14.Does anybody have a composition of that or can me guide to the right direction? Thank you very much. Stamos
pyrogeorge Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 These comets called glitter. You can find many glitter compositions. For example D1 is one of glitter compositions. You can see my D1 comet.
dan999ification Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 you may like to try ralphs glitter, one of the most simple and safe glitter comps [ and theres a few ] its all i use for a few reasons. dan.
stamos Posted April 7, 2012 Author Posted April 7, 2012 Thank you all for your replys. I want to use this composition in comets and not in stars. I have made D1 in the past and used it in stars but i thing that the comp im am searching should be some kind of embedded microstars in a matrix composition which leaves the desired trail. Can Ralphs glitter be the desired component of the microstar composition? Thanx Stamos
pyrofear Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 hi to all.i agree with stamos absolutely, these comets are a matrix composition that burn fast with silver strobe mickrostars inside that burn slowly..the d1, winokur 20, and more glitter compositions are not like this..this compositions are with metal powder inside like mgal,or al,or everything else and the sparkles are much more and smoller and they dont flashing like this..i will try to help you soon..!!
Bcorso85 Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 Try winokur 10. Its a magnalium fueled star with dense white a semetrical flashes
Algenco Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 the comets/effects in the video are crackle/dragon eggs, yes they are a microstar added to the comp
