azure Posted July 11, 2011 Share Posted July 11, 2011 (edited) I like to experiment with different fuel ,oxidiser, catalyst and binder combinations for my rockets and like to go where no man has gone before so to speak My latest concoction is a propellant which i named "the dominator" because it sounds 'kewl' and it has some interesting "dominating" properties. It is quite flexible and moldable (like a putty) and can be hand pressed in tubes and fired in a endburner nozzleless configuration. (at least for small size rockets).When completely dry it is very shock sensitive (KClO3 version) and has a extremely high burnrate but does not explode afaik.It whistles too but the sound seems to be depending on certain parameters which i haven't fully identified yet. Take a look at my video if you like and tell me what you think. Also if anyone can guess what the `secret` fuel is that i used , please go ahead.
