alexthegreat00 Posted May 18, 2011 Share Posted May 18, 2011 I have a open ended Social Science report to do and figured I might as well doing it, so I chose fascination with fire as a topic. I remember hearing a story on the radio about how only suburban kids are fascinated with fire. The reason that impoverished kids are not is that they see it is a tool and have to use it rather than play with it. I would really love to use it as a source, but I can not find it online. It may have been from NPR but it is not "Who's the Fire Starter". I already checked that. I do remember that I listened to it a couple years ago. It is not really recent. alexthegreat00 Posted May 19, 2011 Author Share Posted May 19, 2011 actually, never mind. i am tweaking my topic around a bit to be mostly about Americans increasingly sedentary lifestyle and how they need to get their collective hands dirty. probably an admin should delete this thread as it is pretty much useless.
