I am just guessing here so correct me if I am wrong but the comets have their own guns that they are propelled from? And each have a time fuse on them for timing? I'll take two cases please ;) Edited by dagabu

Did you time-fuse the comets seperately or just run some fuse through the lot?

great job!

iv'e been toying with these and will test one tommorow. [the comets] one question that troubles me, is it just a bp sandwich or are there any other components as mine rattle a bit and it worries me they wont travel to my shoot site too well

probably just me worrying too much but i like evrything tight

dan999ification,

The comet tubes I used are 2 1/2" x 1" . The comets 1" x 3/4". I use about 2grams of 4f g between the two comets.

Hope this answers your question.

Thanks BJV, I may just try that on a rocket some day. ;)

Very nice rising effects BJV ! These rising effects create such a nice tension before the break, as opposed to just a big rising comet. Break is also nice.

Do the time fuse from the ascending split comets light well enough from just the lift gasses?

Mumbles the time fuse is cross matched with thermalite, I cross match all my time fuse with it.

What is the red stuff on your timefuse? Nice shell :)!

ExplosiveCoek I cover the cross match time fuse with tissue paper. It's just to protect the shell from a stray spark.

I've been so busy with so many things I missed this thread, and for a long time no doubt. Anyway, great job BJV! Each effect took fire and was clearly seen.
