weknowpyro
I thought i would enter this saxon even though its not amazing i thought it still looked pretty neat and maybe it will get more people entering their stuff. This was made by me and joe609 so its a joint effort(we know pyro is attually our team name) The drivers are using a simple bp and Al compostion with extra bits of charcoal for more sparks.PICTUREShttp://www.apcforum.net/files/PICT0143.JPGhttp://www.apcforum.net/files/PICT0145.JPG VIDEOhttp://www.apcforum.net/files/saxon.wmv

pudidotdk
Let me get everything straight: I thought a Catherine Wheel was a string of pyrotechnical composition rolled up, and when lit it spins. A "normal" wheel or pinwheel was the type of wheel that use drivers with thrust in the end of the driver which is placed in an angle that makes the wheel spin. A saxon is like a pinwheel, but instead having thrust at the end has a vent hole drilled in the side, the saxon drivers are placed in a line, only with vent holes different ways. What am I missing here?
weknowpyro
Not alot, you are correct on your descriptions. I only called it a saxon at the time because I didn't know what else to call it (as it was a year ago and i was fairly new to pyro).
