Miech Posted December 26, 2009 Share Posted December 26, 2009 I don't know the data for solubility, but you might try a precipitation with strontium nitrate and sodium tetraborate (borax). I have a feint memory that the strontium tetraborate needs to be doped with metals like europium, samarium or praseodymium to work properly. How this would be done is beyond me, I'm more into organic chemistry. You might have a look at the Youtube channel of Nurdrage, he recently got an item on making glow powder.
