mike_au Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 I picked up some of this: Copper Oxychloride the other day planning to make some Freeman Blue. Would it be necessary to purify it before use? I figure the carbonate might slow things down (probably not a big deal for a star), and the metal lignosulfonate would be incompatible with chlorates (which isn't relevant to Freeman blue). Is it safe to assume that "Other non hazardous ingredients" are actually non hazardous? or does that only apply if you are using it as per the instructions? If I do need to get rid of the other stuff, can anyone suggest how? Could the calcium carbonate be removed by washing with soda water? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
