masterofdisaster
This was our (I work together with Lebanj12) first 8'' shell, but I think it came out pretty well. Here are some pictures taken during assembly: http://www.shrani.si/f/2B/uE/4isU7zFF/1/dsc00121.jpghttp://www.shrani.si/f/o/mJ/1UDkM4bn/dsc00126.jpghttp://www.shrani.si/?1g/pC/3ILUYrWD/img3554.jpg (it's the one with the red lift cup) The shell weighed 2500g and was lifted with 200g of blackpowder.Video: The shell was fired as a part of NYE fireworks. FREAKYDUTCHMEN
In the commercial pyro bussiness many things are secret, like compositions, break charge and so on. I've got some information from a friend who owns 2 factories. There are some factories who's hiring pyrotechnicians for sertain effects or colors, these pyro technicians do not tell how the composition is made, because if they do, well then they are superfluous. So it means you have to do quite a lot of test or meet the right persons (with a bit of luck of course).
