Chris
I'm curious to see what your pyro labs look like. I just moved into a new lab 'facility' and I decided to post a few pics. I use this litle shed mainly to store and mix chemicals. http://www.pyrosource.com/pics/lab/3.jpghttp://www.pyrosource.com/pics/lab/4.jpghttp://www.pyrosource.com/pics/lab/2.jpghttp://www.pyrosource.com/pics/lab/1.jpg Go ahead post pictures of your labs. _DB_
I would post pictures of my lab but I doubt people would want to see pictures of my bedroom and kitchen..... People who actually have a whole building/room devoted to this hobby are quite lucky!
Star_Roller
I only have my garage my friends garage and his computer room and his drying room.
aquaman
Chris you're soo lucky! I wish I had a shed in my backyard. And it also looks like you live in a wooded area which is a pyro's dream land (no cops). BTW my lab is also called my garage.
Rooster
That is red gum in that sigma bottle, right? How did I know? I have two of those myself... Seems like the only way to get it if you're not in the US and don't wanna import.

Seems like the only way to get it if you're not in the US and don't wanna import.Heh, you are absolutely right. I had to track it down for a while, and the shippign turned out to be quite expensive. Fortunately enough, there is going to open a pyrotechnics 'super'store in Norway sometime soon. Have you heard about it? I received the price list from mr. Risagner, the store keeper, and the prices are very good. Anyway, enough offtopic. PyroJoe, there is quite much potential to turn it into a very nice lab. Keep us updated! Pyrohawk
My Lab is very boring.... My room: I weigh and mix here, also assemble shells and mines. It looks like a mad scientists room most the time.....My barn: I share this much like Pyrojoe. I do all the dangerous and or messy stuff here. Ball milling, star rolling, and making rockets/fountains.
_Po_
My lab used to be inside in a little room that was like a closed off veranda that they put there for some reason. Our house is over 100 years old...Well half of it anyway, it was moved into town and joined to another house. Kind of weird but you don't notice it. Anyway, my mother bought a business and she needed that room to run it. So I got kicked out. All my stuff is in a room that you can't get into because it's so full of shit. Dad had to give up his "shed" which was actually the laundry, as well. So both our stuff is in this room. Not to mention that room happened to be our lounge room which we're moving to a different room so all the furniture and stuff is in a small awkward room until we get around to moving it again. Okay, my lab now. We're building a new lab for me. It's about 7.5x3.5m I think. It's been in the making for about a year now. All we really need to do is concrete the floor and put walls up and I can move in. But that seems to be going pretty slowly. When we finish it (expected date: 2013) I'll take some photos for you if I'm still living here when I'm 24.

PyroJoe
I know all of you have been dieing to see my new lab! Wallah! http://www.apcforum.net/files/Image006.jpg My dad and I built shelves on the back of my desk. So much more space! I love it. We also added a little paper station in the center, so I can roll shell casings and tubes easily. http://www.apcforum.net/files/Image003.jpg Other table that was so cluttered before now has my hydraulic press and 2 heat lamps to dry stuff. Caleb51
I use a corner of my familys laundry room/workshop. My dad gets the majority of space for his train layout (Model trains) but I convinced him to give me a table and cabinet. Yay. If anyone wants pics, just ask. Swany
I have a two story building appx. 50m from my house devoted to pyrotechnical and chemistry enterprises. I only actively use the top floor, though the bottom could be utulized as storage, should I become an industrial scale buyer
aquaman
What... you have a whole two story building for pyrtechnics? Swany by far, I think wins the best lab here. But seriuosly a whole building?
Swany
Yes, most of the 1536ft^2 of it.

Swany
When I get around to it. I guess I will be out there this weekend, unless if I go on a spurious weekend endeavor. It should really really be cleaned first. It should be clean all of the time, however, I am not very inherently clean.
Givat
ohh, after alot of nagging and working to get the money - I finally got myself a real Pyro shed.I haven't moved all my stuff in yet but here are some pictures: http://img57.imageshack.us/img57/7568/pyroshedoutside4jo.th.jpghttp://img57.imageshack.us/img57/4729/pyroshedinside18st.th.jpghttp://img110.imageshack.us/img110/3350/pyroshedinside25xw.th.jpghttp://img110.imageshack.us/img110/867/pyroshedshelf8ux.th.jpghttp://img57.imageshack.us/img57/8788/pyroshedrightwall8vi.th.jpghttp://img110.imageshack.us/img110/2280/pyroshedwall24kb.th.jpg
Chris
Thats really cool! Did you buy the shed as a package or was it ready assembled? Also, did you make the concrete base yourself?
Givat
Me and my father did the concrete - My advice if any one going to make such big concrete base - buy concrete mixer.I mixed the concrete by hand in a wheelbarrow and it was exhausting like anything I did before. And the shed came in 3 boxes, it took about 3 hours to build it.
