Will grinding aluminum with charcoal increase power?

Hello, I got aluminum powder (around 350mesh lab grade) and thought to ask if grinding it in a coffee grinder with charcoal will make it work better in a flash powder composition.

Nope, coffee grinder doesn't work.

For flash you need extreme fine mesh aluminum.

You would better purchase pyro aluminum powder.

Thanks for the precautionary statement. But what could happen if charcoal is grinded? Doesn't the mix have to contain an oxidizer for it to react?
