I want to ask everyone about the components of the willow firework star with the effect (core flame). When burned on the ground, they have a small flame in the center and then spray titanium + feti metal rays, especially the small flame in the center of the typical star like in my videos. With normal willow stars, there will be no core flame but only direct spray effects like coal + metal. So to make a core flame in the center like that in the willow firework star, do they need any special components? Thank you everyone.

I think the star in this video looks like something faster than the ordinary willow formula. I would try "tiger willow" (a 50/50 mix of shimizu willow and tiger tail) with some FeTi/Ti added to duplicate the burning star in your video. It may also be easier to judge the effect if the star is seen burning through the air.

Why are you aiming your test results on ground test? why not to test it in a star mine or fire small shell?

You won't ever be able to get results until you test it against wind (in sky).

Also it is not yet clear that what kind of effect you are looking for?

Can you specifically elaborate what kinda result you want to achieve or any image/video footage would be helpful to understand more.

A willow star with a " flash " core used to be a pretty common ball shell effect. That star, looks to be a variation of that effect.

That definitely doesn't look like FeTi. My guess would be aluminum. Possibly TI.

Do they need special components ?

You need to roll up a batch of flash cores. Then roll your " willow " comp. Over the top of the flash cores, to your finished size.

Pretty basic, two effect round star.

I see that the author of this thread describes something which might also sound like a color or flash core round star, but the video attached looks like only a slower burning pumped charcoal star with some metal particles. So I am not quite sure what he means now.

A faster burning charcoal star will have a small visible flame from the burning process like in the video, while a slower willow star will not have this to the same degree, in my experience

thank you for your interest in my article, i am very sorry for not using english because of some problems, i am looking for the willow star effect with a core flame or otherwise known as willow star (core flame) as you know with a normal willow star they burn from fast to smoldering like cigarette butts, but the willow star i want to talk about here when burning has a small flame coming from the center of the star like a small candle then sprays coal + metal rays out, and i want to find out how to make the willow star have a core flame like that, what ingredients did they put in to create the effect of a small flame in the center of the willow star while burning like that

Do you have a video of the stars in a shell to show the effect? I am still not quite sure if you mean a rounf willow star with color core finish, or just a faster burning charcoal star burning with bigger flame. 

The pumped star burning on the ground in the video you posted could be similar to a tiger willow with some metal.

I just saw the video now, thanks. 

I would try tiger willow with +5% titanium or ferrotitanium, or slow gold formula, on a strobe core for a similar effect. Maybe replace 5-10% of the charcoal with lampblack. It makes the sparks more dim but longer lasting.
