Replacing titanium/ferro-titanium with Indian Blackhead Aluminum in stars

Hi,

Gearing up to make some rubber stars and the recipe calls for titanium or ferro-titanium for "silver spark tails". I do not have any of this on hand but I do have Indian Blackhead Aluminum (8 micron flake). Will this provide a desirable effect or should I just omit and make standard stars?

Omit it.

It will just burn up in the flame envelope.

More than likely, if there is enough of it in the comp. It will ruin/wash out the color.
