Shadrap Posted April 4 Share Posted April 4 What variety of stone would you recommend for the separate oxidizers and fuels to be ground with? I have 3-4 different mortar and pestle combinations to use and the are mostly granite or marble mineral based. Does the fuel need to be possibly ground with a ceramic mortar to really ensure no possibility of sparking or host stone contamination? I have properly seasoned and internally polished all my mortars buy hand with salt and rice ground for about an hour each. Just curios about the details, thanks.
