TXpyro
I have some American visco fuse from pyro creations but it never seems to burn underwater. I was wondering if y'all know a good way to waterproof it. Will wrapping it in painters tape work?
Arthur
In the days of 1/4" blasting fuse there was also waterproof fuse of the same size. BUT the comp was different and the burn rate was different. Is there a good reason why you need fuse to burn underwater.. You can safely assume that any fuse that burns under water will burn at a different speed on the land. countryboy7978
Unfortunately the newer batches of American visco have declined significantly in quality over the stuff from just a few years ago. I'm not sure what has changed in the process but it's not very well coated in lacquer like it used to be. You can buy a pint of nitrocellulose lacquer from the same supplier you bought your fuse from and coat it by pulling through a container of it and letting it dry.
