JosephGoldberg Posted January 8 Share Posted January 8 Hi everyone I got bored one day and opened up my 10 year old electric flyswatter out of curiosity. I soldered up the wires to 2 metallic pins to act as electrodes, and screwed it back together, making a decent taser. My question is, would using a 9v battery/more batteries to increase the voltage (to make it more powerful) damage the electronic components? It is designed to operate on 2x1.5V AA batteries. The high voltage generator inside the flyswatter can apparently convert 3v into 3000v. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
