H2O Posted January 11 Share Posted January 11 Hi there, I wondered what the paraffin is.......is it melted candle wax? I ask this as I have a project to make my own smoke bombs.....see my post.....smoke dyes. I am in the process of trying to procure coloured smoke dyes, but so far it's proving very difficult to get small amounts; less than 1kg and at £65/kg here in the UK it's a very expensive project. PyroGb Posted January 13 Author Share Posted January 13 Yes I used canning wax it’s prety cheap like 5 bucks for 500-600 grams it’s just pure paraffin😃 my advice if you can’t find what your looking for look for a dye lab near you then just call them up and see if you can special order, then drive to pick it up.
