Zumber
Barium chloride will not work. Barium nitrate could work. Both star formulas will be for colour stars not for strobe.

Zumber
Please post video of aerial shell using red and green strobe stars. Some stars behaves differently in ground and in sky. Strobe is one of them. Eagerly waiting for your shell video. Thank you.
Crazy Swede
MadBoy, you REALLY need to learn how to spell the chemical names in proper English, this is no place to cause confusion between ingredients! Also, investing in a single flame jet/torch lighter is a great tip. I cannot understand how so many fireworks enthusiasts likes to burn their fingertips while wasting our time when trying to ignite something with that feeble flame of a cheap cigarette lighter.

I will pay attention to what you say thanks

There is also a Russian guy somewhere on the forum here that has red / white / green strobe formulas using nitrates with bismuth trioxide. And the ones he showed are one of the best strobe stars I have ever seen.
