This is also the first time I have broken my shells with just straight black powder and not added whistle or Flash as a booster. They definitely break a lot rounder with some whistle tossed in. But I was having a bit of ignition issues with the colored Stars out of a mine so I figured I would skip the booster. The camera definitely does not capture the brilliant color of these Stars they look white on the camera. But they had deep rich color in person.
