crazyboy25
the best star mixture? it is all a personal choice personally i like D1 glitter and go getters but everyone has their own preferance. there are two main types of whistle mixes potassium perchlorate and sodium benzoate and perchlorate and sodium salicylate use red iron oxide as a catalyst. i have never heard of a whistling hummmer because then it would hum now would it? chances are a hummer with whistle mix would EXPLODE. i have personally made whistle rockets with perchlorate and benzoate i am very pleased with the results i just finished making a payload will test it soon. as for more websites website 1 website 2 there are many many more and even though you said you looked you couldn't have looked that hard. try typing in "whistle mix" on google. Von Bass`
I absolutely agree about the personal preference thing on the stars. But I think everyone would agree that Tiger Tail/Chrysanthemum 6 is a good place to start I've made plenty of hummers before, but I've never made anything whistle. Experience tells me though that the more energetic a composition is, the better the construction has to be (obviously), so if you where to use whistle, the walls would have to be thick, the plugs excellent, the exhaust hole engineered rather well... You may have more luck attaching a small tube of whistle mix to the hummer, and fusing both.
