Using the same spindle geometry with the proven performance and reliability loved by pyro's worldwide, these new tool sets possess a ton of improvements to make rocket manufacturing easier, safer and more consistent. All rammers now feature a shaft that is reduced in diameter. While the head of the rammers are exactly 0.750" in diameter, the shaft is 10 thousandths of an inch smaller to help aid in rammer removal. The heads of each rammer are now knurled for solid handling. The biggest improvement, though, is that all cored rammers are now completely hollow. The entire length of the rammer features a hollow core designed to work directly with our rammer cleaner. Not only are the hollow rammers easier to clean, they dramatically reduce the amount of fuel build-up inside the rammer core. This makes rocket pressing easier and safer. Plus, it reduces the potential for spindle damage and accidental ignition due to fuel plugging up the bore of the rammer. As always, each rammer is hard anodized for ease of use and long life. All swap and no-pass lines are machined into the rammers after hardening and are incredibly easy to see. Plus, each rammer has toolset name and tube lengths engraved into the shaft to prevent rammer and spindle mis-matching. All spindles are available in your choice of super slippery bronze or tough as nails stainless steel.
