Hello Everyone,

All sorts of new development at FireSmith Pyro Tools. Checkout the info below. And, as always, feel free to email, call or PM with any questions

NEW PRODUCTS COMING & OLD FAVORITES BACK IN STOCK!
Checkout our website for great deals on these items! We just got another batch of great pyro tooling back from our hard anodizing partner. Tube supports, 3/16" & 1/4" star plates, double voice crackers, star plate accessories and a new-updated version of our popular spoulette & insert set are all back in stock! Color changing star plates, 1/2" star plates and updated versions of our 1lb rocket tool sets (featuring hollow rammers) are all currently at hardening. We expect these to ship the week of February 14th.
FIRESMTH WILL BE AT WINTERBLAST
We're making the drive to spend of bit of time hanging out in the sun with all of you awesome pyro people down in Lake Havasu, Arizona. For those of you who have yet to attend WinterBlast, it's basically a "mini PGI" featuring manufacturing, open shooting, class C sales and some really cool displays. Be sure to visit us at the tradeshow and attend our live material seminars. New this year, we will have a press and a selection of star plates you can use to press your own stars. Remember, we offer free delivery of any product in our catalog to WinterBlast. Email ASAP with your wish list and we'll be sure to have it waiting for you. Please note, hydraulic presses are about $300 to ship, so this is a great way to save some cash.
SUPPLY CHAIN HEADACHES
Yup, we are still experiencing huge impacts due to supply chain and outside vendor labor issues. Hard anodizing is still painfully slow due to staffing shortages. So, if you see something in the catalog you'd like, order it quickly because it could be several months before that item is available again.
Aluminum prices continue to increase. Our raw material prices have doubled in the past year. We did have to raise prices a few months ago to compensate for this increase. Hopefully, raw material expenses stabilize, but if they keep increasing, our prices will have to rise again.
Sourcing hydraulic systems and cylinders for our presses is still sporadic. We were able to secure 6 setups for our 14.4 ton presses. 3 have already been claimed. If you'd like a press from this current batch, let us know ASAP. It may be late spring / summer before we are able to get another supply of hydraulic components.
