powdered sugar 15

black copper oxide 11

PVC 7

Hexamine 5.5

Parafin 1.5

I found this recently online and it was hidden pretty well. i have not seen this formula anywhere else but the place i found it. It appears to be somewhat unknown but i wanna try it out. anyone ever tried it out before, its fairly simple and i already have the chems lying around.

There's a published blue strobe rocket formula, that is even simpler. Edited by Carbon796

how can it be any simpler than above? all i can find is the one with bathroom caulking in it,which definately isnt easier,i made it once and it was a pain in the ass and messy. i hope thats not the one your referring to,i wanna use it on a 3lb strobe spindle not a star.

I do believe Carbon said "blue strobe rocket", not "star", and the dude's not a Newbie...

And yeah, silicone can require attention to work with--it's all in the timing of the cure, which can be slowed if desired. Making DEs has about the same time-sensitivity once you get started, but is no nightmare, too.

Maybe you'll develop a new blue strobing fuel and share your experiences!
