I can only find some limited lists of reactions on various sites. There are also sites that can tell you how to balance chemical equations but they can't tell you if the reaction is possible in the first place. I'm interested in exotheric reactions such as thermite but I would like to know what the result is going to be in advance to avoid creating toxic things like carbon monoxide or hydrogen sulfide. There are a few things like you describe, but most aren't free or would be hard to access without University access. Getting access to university libraries is probably your best bet. I did look at an old free onlibe version of the chemistry handbook mentioned but could only find a list of 100 reactions of which none were to my interest.
