Guest PyroManiac1
For 3" ball shells. I have seen multiple 5 layers pasting techniques that are extremely slow. Are there any that are a little faster?
Aspirina
By hand is always slow process, you can make a simply machine to do it, In can shells is easy to do by hand but ball shells is to slow...
NeighborJ
I've been spiking my ball shells for quick construction.https://youtu.be/Xe5us3TZD7k

Is the break loud and round comparable to paper pasting? It is a little hard to see in the video.
NeighborJ
The breaks can be dialed in by using a looser or tighter spiking pattern. A booster and a loose spiking patern can be used for the fastest construction method. I've used a 2 layer spiking with a dry paper wrap between and it is almost a salute with only BP. It takes a few experiments to find what works with your materials but yes you can get very nice round breaks.
